Supportive Learning CIC was formed in September 2018 with the ambition to provide new ways of learning for people who find traditional methods of learning difficult.
To provide educational activities and resources to children and adults from varying backgrounds to aid in the improvement of Numeracy and Literacy learning. With a focus on raising disability awareness and delivery of arts-based education projects.
By using a range of different learning techniques, resources, training and workshops, we seek to provide the best opportunities in life for everyone who engages in our programme.
Activities
Raise awareness of the disabilities among the wider community and general population.
Community Benefit
To educate and train people on different types disabilities and the everyday barriers they face and how small changes can make their life easier. As well as learning about acceptable and sustainable behaviour and looking at disclination.
Mission Statement
Provision will be made to better the opportunities to any person engaging in our programmes through the development of literacy and numeracy.
